All about gauge and swatch

Not to forget to write about: the most stupid way to swatch, pins, and positive trucks with acrylic yarn.

Summer. Gleem Lace by Fyberspates, crochet-and-frogging process:

Autumn. Finally a result: Peacock on a Walk pattern!

Winter: frog-and-crocheting process again :)

I had so beautiful idea in my head, that could not wait at all! I ripped my Peacock scarf and start making the swatches. Also I didn't make any sketch and my swatches were wrong (not so interesting that I thought they should be).  Now I have no idea what was that idea actually, haha. Completely forgot.

I really like to explore the hidden yarn features. This Bargello blanket was made of kid-mohair yarn, so thin!, using 3.5mm (US D) size hook. 

Lovers' Knot is a very simple stitch

It consists of two stitches: a large chain and a single crochet in the back ridge of this chain.

I reel up the yarn on the board or a book and use the steam iron if needed to make it straight. Very fast and comfortable method.
